Preston made his first trip to the zoo! We went to Wildlife World Zoo & Aquarium. We just went to the Aquarium part and then had dinner at the restaurant. We'll have to go back and do the zoo portion another time. Preston was great...he slept through most of it!!

Superman

I call Preston Superman because he always has his arms in the air like he's getting ready for take off! If he gets startled when he's sleeping he'll put his arms out and leave them that way for several minutes. It's too funny. Here are a couple of pictures.

Smile

Preston's starting to smile!! It was hard to get him to smile and take a picture at the same time! We'll have to get better ones and post them. He's too cute!!

Preston - 1 Month Old

I can't believe Preston is a month old!! The past 4 weeks have flown by. He's such a great baby...he's starting to be more alert now, focusing, etc. He is also sleeping well at night so we are really happy about that. It's amazing how much he's changed in 4 weeks. His newborn clothes barely fit as he's grown so much!! On to bigger sizes!!

Diaper changing has been one of the biggest challenges as he pees everywhere just about every time I take off his diaper!! Just when I think I have it figured out, he pees just to let me know he's in charge! Last night I was changing his diaper and he peed all over (of course) and just as I put a new one on him, he pooped. So I thought he was done, I took off the diaper and was wiping him. While I was wiping him, he had projectile poop that went all over me! I screamed and Shelby laughed. Fun Times!!

Super Bowl

The Cardinals made it to the Super Bowl!! We didn't win but it was a great game. I am still so happy that our team even made it that far. We'll get'em next year!!

Sleeping

Preston is such a great sleeper! He also loves sleeping with his mommy and daddy. While I was pregnant I kept saying he wouldn't sleep in bed with us......well that didn't last! He loves to sleep on daddy's chest and usually does for a couple of hours in the early AM. I also like to put him in bed with me when Shelby goes to work. He's such a cuddle bug!!
