Cruise 2010
Shelby and I went on a weekend Cruise to Mexico. This was our first time leaving Preston. He did great with the Grandmas but we missed him terribly. Four days was too long to leave him! Shelby and I had a nice time although the cruise "experience" was different than we are used to. We got "upgraded" to a room and were very excited about it. Well it ends up being a room over the engine or something and it was so loud!! I couldn't even sleep at night. For the formal dinners, they always sit you with other guests. There was suppose to be 4 other guests sitting with us at dinner and none of them showed up any of the nights! So Shelby and I ate dinner by ourselves! We did an excursion in Ensenada and only 2 other couples signed up for it! But that ended up being one of my favorite parts of the trip. We took a cooking lesson at the Mango Mango Restaurant in Ensenada. It was a lot of fun. All in all, it was a good trip and nice to get away :)

That dinner thing happened to us on one of our cruises. I know how disapointing that can be because sometimes getting together for dinner with the other couples is sooo much fun! I think some people don't have clue what they miss. It's kinda like going to the Biltmore & ordering a grilled cheese sandwich! Oh well, but you had each other & I'm sure you were able to make it special!
